The thesis of Kyoto Institute of Technology.
In the thesis I paid attention to 60's Superstudio and 80's Ettore Sottsass
as 2 major ideologues and discuss how design theories of the ages were changed.
Although additional, it was important work to detach the notion of bricolage
from the bricolage of Levi-Strauss who was a rigid and static Structuralist.
At that time, 'bricolage' was of Levi-Strauss' which elements should be
parts of structures. To discuss the age of postmodern, elements should run
away from structures. |
