The main thesis of AA graduate school for AA
Grad Dipl. Eisenman was a rare architect who has explicit theory (as I mentioned
in the page of Hara). I think it was not so old but 60's that philosophy
influenced on architecture directly. It can be said that architects who
represented that were Rowe and his students Robert Venturi and Eisenman;
etitleially Eisenman was theory sensitive. Eisenman changed his theoretical
model every 10 years. Behind the fact, there is something unchanged; that
was the space where Eisenman's architecture was built. This thesis tried
to discuss about that by tracing the developments of Eisenman's arguments
in chronological order. |
