| The Nagano Olympic was an Olympic which volunteers played an active part.
This is the head office and publicity base of volunteers' activity. The publicity is two way; one is actual space which has stage used for many activities; the other is a visual mechanism to publicize volunteers' daily activity. The activities cannot be seen because they are at each site. Using photograph lacks live feelings so that we designed the mechanism that movies captured at the sites were projected on the big outside walls made of tent sheets. We made the facade facing to the main street of the stadium as five screens on which five projectors project the movies and news on the Olympic. What looks like light box is toilet. |
